INTEREST Workshop, Maputo, Mozambique
This is already the 4th Annual INTEREST Workshop -International Workshop on HIV Treatment, Pathogenesis and Prevention Research in Resource-Limited Settings. The INTEREST workshop initiative was launched in 2007, speerheaded by Prof. Joep M.A. Lange and Prof. Charles Boucher and supported by a prominent panel of developing and developed country experts in the field of HIV/AIDS. CROI 2010: The 17th Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections, San Francisco, USA
The 17th Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI 2010) is a scientifically focused meeting of the world's leading researchers working to understand, prevent, and treat HIV/AIDS and its complications CROI 2010 will feature the fifteenth Bernard Fields Memorial Lecture, the fourth N'Galy Mann Lecture, plenary lectures that will be highly scientific in nature, roundtable symposia that will present and debate controversial scientific issues, several hundred original oral abstract and poster presentations of new data, and late breakers that will consist of important preliminary research findings. 5th International microinsurance conference. Dakar, Senegal. Over 300 experts from around the world will exchange experiences and discuss the challenges of microinsurance. They include representatives from international organisations, NGOs, development-aid agencies, insurance and reinsurance companies, academics, policymakers and regulators.
